What is a Social Accounting?
Social accounting & auditing is a method by which a business seeks to place a value on the impact on society of its
operations. It is a way of measuring and reporting on an organisation’s social and ethical performance.
Giving Forward conducts a social audit and accounting every month. This covers the donations given to our adopted charities, the salaries and the number of people we employ from the marginalized and disadvantaged community.

An organisation which takes on an audit makes itself accountable to its stakeholders and commits itself to following the audit’s recommendations. Giving Forward believes in total transparency of our operations, and that companies do not operate in isolation, but can have marked impacts on the environment, and people at local, national and global levels.
